Do I need teaching qualifications?
Generally no. Most places don't require teaching credentials. In the UK and Australia, no qualifications are needed. In the US, most states don't require them either.
How much does it cost?
From near-free (using library and online resources) to several thousand per year. Most families spend £300-1,000/$400-1,300 annually on curriculum and activities.
How long should homeschooling take each day?
Less than you think. Primary: 1-3 hours. Secondary: 2-4 hours. Homeschooling is more efficient than classroom learning.
What if my child wants to go back to school?
You can return to school at any time. Contact your local school or authority about re-enrollment and placement.
